Wykidd Song Goes Live

The expanded www.wykidd.com goes live today for Wk Design, the studio of Wykidd Song.

Over the past few weeks, I've been working closely with Wykidd to ensure that his site reflects his established position as a local fashion name, as well as creating a fresh and dynamic approach in showcasing his studio's portfolio.

In technical terms, the site was built in bits. Several flash files loading dynamically allows easy management when it comes to adding new images and material for a new collection or season. As compared to the previous site, this modularity also allowed for quicker loading of the entire site. The menu system randomly fades and repositions itself after every transition, so you'll never get the exact same cascading effects. Each item in the menu is also it's own symbol, allowing for easy additions of menu items and having the same effects applied to them.
